# DOT LINK INTERACTION BRIEF — CONSOLIDATED

## Design Intent

Interactive dot links should feel like embedded symbolic activation points within the artwork.

They should read as:
- energetic nodes
- signal emitters
- portal loci
- artifact activation points

## Shared Rules

All dot links should be HTML/CSS live overlays, not baked into the image.

They should be circular, emissive, subtle but unmistakably alive, premium, integrated into the composition, and never flat or generic.

Visual language:
- glow
- halo
- translucency
- glass / ether / plasma qualities
- soft edge bloom
- symbolic rather than interface-like

## Animation Rules

Motion should feel alive, recursive, continuous, breathing, signal-like, persistent, and emergent.

Avoid sleepy motion, static dots, one-shot pulses, isolated ripples, obvious loader animation, and dead stop/reset behavior.

## Ripple Logic

A new ring begins before the previous ring dies.

Desired behavior:

small origin  
→ ring expands outward  
→ fades gradually  
→ additional rings are already emerging from center

No perceptible dead gap.

Visual metaphor:
- transmission
- consciousness broadcast
- thought wave
- ritual resonance
- arcane telemetry

## Scale

Effects should be dramatically larger than conservative UI assumptions.

User feedback: browser zoom made scale feel correct.

Conclusion: ripple systems should be oversized relative to normal web design.

Goal: feel mythic / environmental rather than widget-sized.

## Portal 01 — Forehead Node

Distinct from forehead node.

Animation behavior:

More dynamic cyclical behavior than forehead node.

Requested logic:
